Return Policy

At Blind Smart, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, because our window coverings (blinds, shades, and shutters) are custom-made to your specific measurements, our return policy is as follows to comply with industry standards and consumer protection.

1. 30-Day Return Window (Defective Items Only)

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery.

  • Eligible for Return: Items that are defective, damaged during transit, or if the product received does not match the specifications of your order (e.g., wrong color or incorrect size sent by us).

  • Not Eligible: Because items are custom-made, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind," "wrong style selection," or "incorrect measurements provided by the customer."

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, you must contact us at support@blindsmartofyuma.com within 30 days of receiving your package.

  • Please provide your order number and clear photos of the defect or damage.

  • Once your return is accepted, we will send you a Return Shipping Label and instructions on how and where to send your package.

  • Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping Costs

  • For Defective/Damaged Items: Blind Smart will cover 100% of the return shipping costs. We will provide a pre-paid shipping label.

  • Restocking Fees: We do NOT charge any restocking fees for defective or incorrectly sent items.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Method: Approved refunds will be processed automatically to your original PayPal account within 5-7 business days.

  • Full Refunds: Includes the full purchase price and original shipping costs for defective items.

5. Damaged in Transit

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, please take a photo before opening. Contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

6. Order Cancellations

Production begins shortly after an order is placed. You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, the order is entered into our custom fabrication system and cannot be canceled.

7. Return Address
